At this time, CBR can reveal five variant covers for X-Men Red #1, which come from artists Christian Ward, David Lopez, Peach Momoko, Javier Garron (with colors by Jesus Aburtov) and Taurin Clarke, respectively. The issue, due for release on April 6, is written by Al Ewing and illustrated by Stefano Caselli. It features a main cover by Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson.
Earlier this month, Marvel announced it would be launching a new X-Men Red series under its Destiny of X banner, with writer Ewing and artist Caselli. The original X-Men Red was an 11-issue series written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Mahmud Asrar, Carmen Carnero and Rogê Antônio that ran throughout the year of 2018.
