The debut of a Sabretooth miniseries, first appearance of Queen Goblin and a new Fantastic Four/She-Hulk event lead releases next week.
Marvel Comics spotlights villains old and new in next week’s releases.
Leading the charge is Sabretooth, the latest five-issue miniseries to star a titular character from Marvel in the last year, with others including the likes of Hawkeye: Kate Bishop and Ms. Marvel: Beyond the Limit. The Wolverine villain has been featured in his own solo title before, but the latest comes at a time when the clawed hero is leading two miniseries at once — X Lives and X Deaths of Wolverine. The upcoming book will explore Sabretooth’s time spent in the Pit of Exile, a place where mutants are sent if they break Krakoan law. Of course, there are numerous other issues to be picked up off shelves on Wednesday.
While Sabretooth has been around since 1977, The Amazing Spider-Man #88 is about to debut a brand new villain. You have seen the Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Red Goblin and more, but now the Queen Goblin arrives on her glider to face Ben Reilly and give the wall crawler his own cackling nemesis. Then, the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer and more lead a massive event in Fantastic Four: Reckoning War Alpha #1, which writer Dan Slott has been orchestrating for almost two decades now.
Other notable releases include the monstrous transformation of Peter Parker in Savage Spider-Man #1 and the launch of X-Cellent, with so much else coming out as well. The full list of releases can be found below, covers and solicitations included.
