Few things in the MCU are scarier than Ultron. Yet, the people behind What If…? took a look at the situation and asked themselves how they could make things even worse. He downloaded his mind into Vision’s body, then killed Thanos and took all of the Infinity Stones for himself. This created Infinity Ultron.
And as bad as that sounds, the reality of the situation was much, much worse. But as powerful as Infinity Ultron is, that doesn’t mean he’s the biggest, baddest dog in the yard. Across the many comic book universes out there, numerous characters have what it takes to bring Infinity Ultron down.
10 Molecule Man Is Frequently Underestimated
A lot of people think that the Molecule Man is just another villain in a silly costume. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Beyonders engineered an accident that gave Owen Reece powers. On top of that, he became a singularity, meaning that he is exactly the same in every reality.
The energies that flow through the body of the Molecule Man are the same ones that power Cosmic Cubes. This allows him to control, transform, and manipulate the molecules of all matter and energy. That includes angry Vibrainum robots with shiny stones implanted in their chests.
9 Doctor Manhattan Would Be Unimpressed
At one point, there were actually a lot of heroes in the world of Watchmen. But the interesting thing about them was that none of them had any superpowers. They were all like Black Widow, Batman, and Green Arrow, just peak humans fighting the good fight.
This was true of everyone except Doctor Manhattan. An accident gave him phenomenal powers that seem to have no limits and are not bound by any of the rules that the Infinity Stones manipulate. Infinity Ultron might just be a nuisance to him.
8 The Thought Robot Is On Another Level
There are powerful beings and then there’s the Thought Robot. Created in the image of Superman, this entity existed solely to defeat the Mandrakk the Dark Monitor, which it successfully did and then some.
But the Thought Robot is on a level that may be impossible to completely understand. It’s aware that it is a comic book character, which is something that few outside of Deadpool and a couple of others know. The Thought Robot exists beyond the rules anyone else works by, including Infinity Ultron.
7 Max Faraday May Be The Personification Of Power
As is often the case with some of comics’ most powerful characters, a string of incidents leads to something amazing happening. After hacking into a computer with a friend, Max Faraday downloaded the Creation Equation. This gave him power beyond reason.
The Creation Equation essentially turned Max into a god. He wields control over space, time, and all other aspects of reality. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. It’s like he has the Infinity Stones without actually having them.
6 The Plutonian Is Superman With More Power And Anger Issues
Few superheroes fell further than the Plutonian did. Once considered to be the world’s greatest superhero, the man snapped under constant criticism and pressure, becoming its greatest villain. He was ultimately responsible for the deaths of millions as well as several of his former teammates.
This is a being with all the powers of Superman, Martian Manhunter, and more. But it’s not just his power levels that make him a threat to Infinity Ultron. The sheer level of brutality he is capable of is enough to give any being a run for their money.
5 Dream Is The Lord Of Stories
He is known by many names. Morpheus. Oneiros. Dream. But regardless of the name, the power is the same. Dream is one of the Endless, seven powerful beings who are reputed to be greater and older than the gods themselves.
What Dream brings to the table is dominion over all dreams and stories. He is the personification of those two concepts, making him a being who exists outside of the realm of what the Infinity Stones control. Dream is like nothing Infinity Ultron has ever encountered before.
4 The Man Of Miracles Is The Ultimate Creator
Despite being known as the Man of Miracles, this genderless entity exists on another plane of existence beyond anything conceivable. They have been known as almost every deity in the history of humanity. They were even responsible for the creation of Heaven and Hell in Spawn’s reality.
This is power on a level beyond anything Infinity Ultron has come across in any of the realities he has traipsed across. And if he wanders into the world of the Man of Miracles, he had best just keep stepping.
3 Mister Mxyzptlk Fears Nothing
Few characters have caused problems for Superman the way Mister Mxyzptlk has. This Fifth Dimensional imp frequently crosses into the DC Universe to mess with the Man of Steel using his impressive mystical powers. Why? Just because he can.
The truth is that he doesn’t have mystical powers. Mister Mxyzptlk uses unbelievable Fifth Dimensional technology that appears magical to people from outside his realm. The Infinity Stones wouldn’t even work in the Fifth Dimension, let alone overcome Mister Mxyzptlk.
2 The Ogdru Jahad Wanted Everything
Hellboy has spent his entire life on Earth trying to prevent the Ogdru Jahad from escaping their celestial prison. He has battled anyone who would try to free them or do their bidding. And it has cost him dearly over the years.
There are a lot of good reasons to keep the Ogdru Jahad imprisoned. To be specific, they are incredibly powerful and unbelievably malevolent. If they get loose, nothing good can come of that, and even RoboThanos couldn’t stop them.
1 Reality Itself Is A Toy To Divinity
Everyone in the Valiant Universe should be celebrating that Divinity is a superhero and not a villain. This former Russian cosmonaut went on a 30-year mission to space. When he came back, he had a level of power that is almost impossible to comprehend.
There seems to be nothing outside of his abilities. He can manipulate molecules. He can force living beings to evolve and devolve. He can manipulate all forms of energy. Simply put, the Infinity Stones hold little sway over someone like Divinity.
