We had the pleasure of chatting with The Witches’ Whisk team be sure to support this indie game!
Tell us about your game?
The Witches’ Whisk has been compared to Overcooked meets Diner Dash with witches and magic. You play as a bakery owner where you use magic to bake and serve your hungry customers. We are in early development, but plan to add tons of fun features such as character customization, cat familiars, bakery decorating, and so much more!
What inspires your work?
A big inspiration for us at Lucky Roll Studio is to make games that we want to play. It’s a lot of fun thinking of new ideas to incorporate into our in game world. Seeing the joy it brings others makes us excited to continue with our work.
Goals for your game?
We hope to create games that are enjoyable for many. Whether it’s the solo cozy gamer or the chaotic variety gamer. I am a believer that there is a game out there for everyone to enjoy and I hope that The Witches’ Whisk may be that game for some. It sounds simple enough, but we strive to make fun games that we also would want to play.
Advice to new devs?
Advice I would give to new devs is to always be curious and learning. Game development is not a race and usually requires a wide breadth of skills. However, it is also okay to not be a master at everything. As long as you are continuing to actively learn and improve it will show through in your games.
What inspired you to start making games?
Lucky Roll Studio is a small two person indie studio, we’re a husband and wife team. Enjoying games together has been an important part of our relationship as a shared hobby. The progression into game dev felt natural and we took the dive into the journey together.
Where can folks support your work?
