Kyouya Hashiba’s life hasn’t been going according to plan as of late. After leaving his mundane office job, Kyouya tried his hands in the gaming industry which didn’t last too long when his internship was shot down quickly. At the age of 28, Kyouya has begun questioning his choices in life and finding the answers not to his liking. Then, one morning, Kyouya wakes up to discover he has returned to his 18-year-old body! Now given a new lease on life, Kyouya begins making new moves in his schooling and finds himself aligning with others who have big dreams despite how difficult those dreams might be.
Remake our Life! asks the age-old question, what would you do with a second chance in life? At times serious and other times whimsical, Remake our Life! is truly a fun series that is being shadowed by other anime this summer 2021 season. What’s even better is Remake Our Life! isn’t an isekai—which there are a lot of this season—and instead is just a bit more realistic of a premise. Well…as realistic as being shot back in time can be at least.
