Guided by the ghosts of his brothers, Michelangelo prepares for combat in a new $1,600 statue based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin.
Michelangelo is commemorated as the lone surviving member of the TMNT in a Premium Collectibles Studio sculpture inspired by his depiction in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin series.
The statue comes in two variants – a normal version selling for $875 and a Supreme Edition that retails for a hefty $1,600. Sculpted by Adam Fisher, the normal statue shows Mikey prepared for combat in the sewers, while the Supreme Edition adds the ghosts of Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello behind him.
Both statues feature Mikey carrying his standard nunchaku but also the weapons of his three brothers: Raph’s sai, Donnie’s bo and Leo’s katana are all equipped to his armor. The statue includes two pairs of arms for displaying all of the armaments. The ghosts of Michelangelo’s brothers can be removed from the Supreme Edition, which measures 20.5 ” tall without them and 23.5″ with them.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is a five-issue miniseries that began publication last October. Written by original TMNT creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird alongside Tom Waltz, who writes IDW Publishing’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ongoing series, The Last Ronin takes place in a grim future where the Foot Clan has taken over New York City and only Michelangelo remains as the last surviving turtle.
