Hasbro releases Michelangelo and April O’Neil, the latest action figures in its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Power Rangers crossover series.
Hasbro revealed the next iteration of its action figures that cross the Power Rangers with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Michelangelo and April O’Neil, respectively outfitted as the Yellow and Pink Ranger, feature over 20 points of articulation and come equipped with interchangeable heads and multiple accessories. Mikey’s nunchucks are mixed with the Yellow Ranger’s Power Daggers, while April carries the Pink Ranger’s traditional Power Bow along with a camera and microphone.
Leonardo and Donatello were previously revealed as the first TMNT figures in Hasbro’s Lightning Collection line, which celebrates various iterations of the Power Rangers. Each TMNT character’s unique Ranger-inspired armor was inspired by the BOOM! Studios 2019 Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover, scripted by Ryan Parrott with art by Simone Di Meo.
The series featured the TMNT and the Power Rangers battling in New York City before coming together to defeat the Shredder. During a moment when the Rangers were out of commission, the turtles and April used their Power Coins to morph into the Turtle Rangers, their own take on the superpowered team. Raphael, who assumed the role of the Red Ranger in the crossover, is the only remaining turtle who has yet to have his Hasbro figure revealed.
Mikey and April are currently available for pre-order on Hasbro’s website in a two-pack for $52.99.
