Yennefer is a major character in the world of The Witcher. She is a powerful sorceress who impacts all the characters deeply. Geralt and her are a key relationship in the franchise, and Anya Chalotra is able to bring this key character to life in such a great way.

When they are focusing on Yennefer’s past, she is able to bring to light the pain that she felt being cast aside by her family. The shame she felt at not being able to do magic as easily as others. The self-loathing she felt because of her physical appearance. Then she transformed herself and reinvented herself and played the powerful, confident Yennefer. The two versions of the character are drastically different and Anya is able to nail both of them perfectly.
