Amazon Prime Video’s newest promo for Season 3 of The Boys has show hosts taking a guess at each member of The Seven’s zodiac sign.
A recent The Boys promo answers the hard-hitting questions that have been on everyone’s minds: what are the zodiac signs of The Seven?
“On the count of three, everyone say what sign you think Homelander is,” Julia, one of three What’s Your Sign hosts, started. Following the countdown, the verdict was clear. “Cancer.” What’s Your Sign is hosted by Stevie, Lisa, and Julia on Amazon Prime Video’s official YouTube channel.
“He’s such a Cancer but I think he really only embodies the negative qualities of Cancer,” Lisa explained. “He’s always seeking the things that he needs to be providing, right? He’s put in this position of being the leader of the group, yet he’s still constantly seeking approval from others.”
She continued with her speculation, “As we know, America’s birthday is in Cancer season. He literally wears the American flag as part of his costume. Patriotism, nostalgia, these are all things associated with Cancer, along with the mother… Let’s just say he has some serious mommy issues.”
The Deep, whose birthday is confirmed on the show as March 1, is a Pisces: “Of course he’s a Pisces. He’s literally a fish.” The women speculated that Starlight is likely a Leo, Aquarius or Libra. As for A-Train, the trio was again split. Julia thought A-Train was a Sagittarius with Lisa saying he is an Aries and Stevie guessing Gemini for the character. Julia and Lisa both agreed that Black Noir is likely a Scorpio because of his stealth and his mysterious nature. Queen Maeve also sparked varying opinions in the video with the women guessing either Capricorn, Pisces, or Scorpio.
Recent The Boys promos have been intentionally dark and satirical of celebrities and pop culture. The Vought+ YouTube channel has been used to tease details of the upcoming season, like Starlight’s ex-boyfriend Supersonic joining the cast of heroes.
Fans have been anxiously waiting for another season since the Emmy Award-nominated Season 2 ended in 2020. Several exciting casting decisions have been announced. Fans can expect to see Supernatural star Jensen Ackles playing Captain America parody character Soldier Boy. The Waking Dead star Laurie Holden will also make an appearance in the next season as Crimson Countess, a spin on Marvel’s Scarlet Witch.
While Season 3 of The Boys has yet to premiere, Season 4 has been announced with production starting in 2022. Although Season 3 does not yet have an official release date, filming wrapped in September and fans speculate the new season will come in late 2021 or early 2022.
