An upcoming auction will feature several iconic original Star Wars pieces, including Darth Vader’s costume, famous lightsabers and C-3P0’s hand.

As part of Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, over 100 original costumes and props from the Star Wars franchise will soon be sold to the highest bidder. The auction will include many iconic pieces, including Darth Maul’s lightsaber from The Phantom Menace, estimated to be worth $55,000 to $82, 500.

“We’re thrilled to be back with another amazing collection of Star Wars treasures,” said Stephen Lane, CEO of Prop Store. “Fans will have the opportunity to get their hands on some truly iconic pieces from the Star Wars universe, spanning from A New Hope (1979) to The Last Jedi (2017). These incredible lots will be sold together with over 1,000 props and costumes at Prop Store’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.”

The auction boasts over 120 Star Wars items total. An ILM X-Wing filming miniature from Return of the Jedi is expected to sell for $274,800 to $412,200.  A stormtrooper helmet from the same film is estimated to be worth around $137,400 to $206,100. C-3P0’s hand from The Empire Strikes Back is valued at $20,610-$27,480 and Darth Vader’s costume is expected to go for $13,740 to $20,610.

There are many other pieces in the auction that would excite any Star Wars fan, including a droid that appeared in Rogue One and Solo, Anakin’s lightsaber from Revenge of the Sith, a Rebel trooper pistol, and many others. The full collection of memorabilia is estimated to be worth over $7.6 million.

A year ago, Prop Store sold $6.2 million of film and television memorabilia in an auction. In that auction, Darth Vader’s original 1977 touring costume was sold for almost $300,000. That auction also included original concept paintings and sketches from Star TrekBatman and Back to the Future.

Star Wars memorabilia is highly sought after by fans, including both original pieces from the sets of the films and toys, action figures and other merchandise. One toy, the rocket-firing Boba Fett, has fetched prices up to $20,000, making it the most expensive Star Wars toy.

For the first time, Prop Store will be accepting cryptocurrency as payment for auctioned items. The company will allow customers to use bitpay for cryptocurrency transactions, giving international customers greater payment flexibility.

The props are available to be previewed at the company’s office in Hertfordshire, England. The preview exhibition allows fans and buyers to see the props up close and ask specialists questions. To register for a preview exhibition appointment, email auction@propstore.com.

The live auction will be held Tuesday Nov. 9 through Thursday Nov. 11. Visit Prop Store’s website to watch the live stream of the auction and to place bids.
