You’ll have to excuse this writer if he has to do some research on the two offerings coming in Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2, the follow up to – yes – Volume 1. That first volume only arrived recently, and though we weren’t particularly delighted with the collection in our review it did nevertheless bring back a couple of cult classic RPGs in one bundle.
Volume 2 is heading to Switch in Spring next year and again features two RPGs – Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound and the brilliantly titled ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman; we have a sneaking suspicion that Darkdeath Evilman may be the villain, and may have been named by Hideo Kojima.
It seems Makai Kingdom originally had a subtitle of [checks notes] Chronicles of the Sacred Tome, released on PlayStation 2 in 2005 and then in a re-release on PSP six years later. ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman was originally on PSP back in 2010.
You can see some PR blurb below, which outlines some new content that’ll feature:

There’ll also be deluxe and limited editions that’ll be available to order from the official NISA Europe store from 10th September.
