The Yumi’s Cells rom-com k-drama will star Kim Go Eun as the lead protagonist, Kim Yu Mi. On the surface, Yu Mi seems like an average single woman in the workforce, but this all changes after she experiences a painful breakup. Suffering from heart break, Yu Mi’s love cells become dormant, which prevents her from experiencing love as she falls into a mundane routine in her daily life. However, Yu Mi soon meets Goo Woong, played by actor Ahn Bo Hyun, who struggles with emotions and expressing himself. While he grapples with his true feelings, Goo Woong’s love cells begin to interact with Yu Mi’s love cells. As the pair’s love cells become more active, there is no telling how their story will unfold.
