The upcoming fourth issue of Marvel Comics’ Non-Stop Spider-Man pits Spidey against none other than Baron Zemo.
Dubbed “The Secret Lives of Savages,” Non-Stop Spider-Man #4 goes on sale this Wednesday, Aug. 25. Per Marvel’s official preview, the issue opens with Spidey phoning Doctor Strange, asking for an assist. In the meantime, Spider-Man takes the fight to Baron Zemo. Unfortunately for our hero, however, the villain has some backup.

Created by Roy Thomas, Tony Isabella and Sal Buscema, Baron Helmut Zemo — son of the original Baron Zemo, Heinrich — first appeared as the villain Phoenix in 1973’s Captain America #168, swearing revenge against Cap for the death of his father. Helmut made his first full appearance as the new Baron Zemo in 1982’s Captain America #276 following a cameo in issue #275.
A heavily-altered version of Helmut Zemo has proven to be a major player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Played by Daniel Brühl, the MCU’s version of Zemo first appeared in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, in which he successfully managed to fracture the Avengers. The character resurfaced — and adopted a more comics-accurate look — earlier this year in the Disney+ original series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Written by Joe Kelly and illustrated by Chris Bachalo, Non-Stop Spider-Man #4 goes on sale Aug. 25 from Marvel Comics.
