For a good while Nintendo has been producing ‘Monthly Rewind’ videos in which a very energetic voice-over walks us through key releases and moments from the last month. The November iteration has arrived and serves as a reminder that it was a pretty notable month for the Switch (and mobile gets a mention too).
Of course Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are a major headline, along with Pokémon Unite’s updates, and it also highlights that we had substantial updates to existing games – both free and paid – that gave them extra life. We were big fans of Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Happy Home Paradise in particular. Some pretty decent eShop titles get shown off too, from high profile IPs to the distinctly bonkers DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game.
December is naturally going to be quieter, though some intriguing download games and updates will likely pick up the slack in an absence of big-selling retail titles.
Let us know what you thought of Nintendo’s November efforts in the comments.
