The MCU’s next star, Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) and Cindy Moon all start new ongoing series, while Wolverine lives (until he also dies) next week.
Heroes from all across the Marvel Universe lead their own, brand new series in the upcoming releases from Marvel Comics.
Leading the charge is She-Hulk, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next big star and hero — literally. Following the events of The Avengers #50 written by Jason Aaron, Jennifer Walters has returned to a more classic look for the character and is launching a new ongoing comic series before she smashes television screens in She-Hulk on Disney+, where she will be brought to life by actor Tatiana Maslany. Of course, the gamma giant is joined by wall crawlers and X-Men who are kickstarting new adventures next week.
Ben Reilly has been swinging around as Marvel’s primary web head in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man since Oct. 2021, but now he is set to star in a new miniseries as well — Ben Reilly: Spider-Man. He’s not the only spider person with a new title though, being that Cindy Moon aka Silk launches a new ongoing book following her five-issue series from 2021. Switching over from web shooters to claws though, Wolverine debuts a new miniseries, X Lives of Wolverine, before simultaneously starring in X Deaths of Wolverine as well, which comes out the following week.
Also arriving from the world of X-Men is a tie-in to the current Daredevil-centric event, Devil’s Reign, which coincides with a new event miniseries, Devil’s Reign: Villains for Hire. In addition, Defenders concludes and the Silver Surfer launches another new series, with the full list of releases found alphabetically below, covers and solicitations included.
