- A key visual and promo video have been released for the new OVA anime “Hakuoki”. Staff and cast information have also been announced on their official website. The OVA will be directed by Osamu Yamasaki with animation by Studio Deen. Houko Kuwashima will voice Chizuru Yukimura, the protagonist, Shinichiro Miki will voice Toshizo Hijikata, Shotaro Morikubo will voice Soji Okita, and Kosuke Toriumi will voice Hajime Saito.
- This OVA is an anime adaptation of “Hakuoki: Shinsengumi Kitan”, a romance adventure game that has since expanded into the realms of TV anime, stage, musicals, OVAs, and more.
- “Hakuoki” will be divided into three chapters. Chapter one will start streaming on U-NEXT starting November 13, 2021, chapter two will start December 11, 2021 and the third chapter will start January 29, 2022.
