Watching Yamato suffer a fate that most fans are familiar with is hilarious. It’s done to an unimaginable extreme. Rather than just snoring, Naruto spends the night sleep-fighting Yamato. Yamato is envious of Kakashi’s blissful night.
8 Kakashi & Guy’s Race (Shippuden Ep. 219)
Shippuden sees a race for the ages between Kakashi and his greatest rival, Guy. Ever since their youth, Might Guy and Kakashi have competed against each other to see who’s best. Guy challenges Kakashi to a race from the village to Hokage Rock’s summit.
Hilarity ensued as this comedy duo riffed off each other amazingly. They elevated the ridiculousness of the episode. While being a light-hearted scene, it highlights the important moment of Kakashi being declared the next Hokage.
7 Naruto Drinks Expired Milk (Naruto Ep. 3)
What makes this story so funny is its relatability among fans. It’s hard to find an individual who hasn’t consumed an expired or wrongly-cooked piece of food that resulted in indigestion issues. Naruto drank expired milk which thwarted all his attempts at seducing Sakura while stealing the identity of Sasuke.

6 Reverse Harem Jutsu (Shippuden Ep. 463)
Fans wondered if a Shinobi could take on a celestial being like Kaguya. Well, the element of surprise is always an incredibly influential tactic when on the back foot against a vastly stronger opponent.
Naruto encompassed this perfectly when he showed off a move nobody expected, the Reverse Harem Jutsu. The Reverse Harem Jutsu created a group of attractive naked men around Kaguya. This technique was bound to throw anyone off-guard, including Sakura, who ends up with a nosebleed.
5 Lee Drunk Fighting Kimimaro (Naruto Ep. 123-124)
Intoxication always leads to a lowering of inhibitions and usually a loss of balance. This wasn’t the case when a drunken Rock Lee challenged Kimimaro to close combat.
Fans watch as a flushed and unfocused Lee stumbles and falls. He seemingly manages to defeat Kimimaro while half-asleep and in a drunken stupor. Kimimaro seems confused by the unpredictability of Lee’s movements, which leads him to lose.
4 Sai Calls Sakura Ugly (Shippuden Ep. 54)
Understanding social situations was always a struggle for Sai. That didn’t stop his perseverance to try to build a closer relationship with his friends. He was determined to learn more about human connection, and how to improve his relationships with his friends.
Unfortunately, his good intentions were thwarted when he was in the library trying to learn to form deeper connections with his peers. He decided to assign nicknames for the team. He ends up calling Sakura “Ugly”, which doesn’t go down well.
3 Team 7 Trying To Figure Out Kakashi’s Identity (Naruto Ep. 101)
Spending years training and fighting together always creates a special bond between teammates. When the Sensei of that team is still hiding behind anonymity, curiosity will always prevail.
What Kakashi looked like behind the mask was one of Naruto‘s biggest mysteries, and fans were as desperate as the team to find out. Their imaginations ran wild with theories, including giant lips and buck teeth, but the reality was even funnier. Behind the mask was another mask.
2 1,000 Years Of Death (Naruto Ep. 4)
With a fighting technique called “1,000 years of death”, fans could only imagine what terrors would be inflicted upon an unsuspecting victim. When Kakashi is introduced as Team 7’s leader, he challenges Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura to steal two bells from him to pass.
Naruto immediately attempts a head-on approach to try to steal the bells. This failed miserably and resulted in Kakashi using the technique against Naruto. Naruto comically leaps into the air and across the room. It was so effective, Naruto uses it later on against Gaara.
