News of the new M.O.D.O.K.-inspired collection comes about a month after Hulu and Marvel collaborated with Instagram to launch a new filter celebrating Season 1 of the animated series. Patton Oswalt, the voice of M.O.D.O.K., helped announce the filter by posting a screenshot of his own face superimposed onto the Marvel supervillain via Twitter.

Created by Oswalt and writer Jordan Blum, Hulu’s M.O.D.O.K. series follows the titular super-criminal as he attempts to work through a mid-life crisis. The series also finds M.O.D.O.K. and his family crossing paths with a number of obscure supervillains, including Master Pandemonium, Armadillo and Angar the Screamer.

It was previously teased that the Hulu animated series will introduce more X-Men characters if it gets a second season. “It’s gonna be even more X-Men-heavy, I’ll tell you that much,” showrunner and writer Jordan Blum said at the time. “…The X-Men floodgates have opened. So yeah, there are some bigger, bigger guys I’d love to have show up in Season 2. You know, I think I would love to write a Storm/M.O.D.O.K. scene if I’m allowed to so… That would be my big pick, yeah.”

The Marvel Legends Series M.O.D.O.K. World Domination Tour Collection retails for $73.99 and will available to purchase exclusively on Hasbro Pulse in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. in Fall 2021.

Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. stars Patton Oswalt as M.O.D.O.K., Aimee Garcia as Jodie, Ben Schwartz as Lou, Melissa Fumero as Melissa, Wendi McLendon-Covey as Monica Rappaccini, Beck Bennett as Austin Van Der Sleet, Jon Daly as Super Adaptoid and Sam Richardson as Gary. The series is currently streaming on Hulu.
