The Power Rangers meet the Sentry Force Four — a team from Zordon’s homeworld of Eltar — in Mighty Morphin #11, by Ryan Parrott and Marco Renna.
Mighty Morphin #11 sees the Power Rangers embarking on a rescue mission accompanied by a new team of allies from Zordon’s homeworld — the Sentry Force Four.
Written by Ryan Parrott, art by Marco Renna, colors by Walter Baiamonte, Sara Antonellini and Katia Ranalli and letters by Ed Dukeshire, a preview of Mighty Morphin #11 features the Power Rangers tasked with rescuing Candice Clark, Skull’s girlfriend and secretly a Guardian of Eltar named Zelya, from the clutches of Lord Zedd. To assist them, the Supreme Guardian of Eltar, who wishes to formally forge an alliance between Earth and Eltar, summons forth a team of allies. This team is composed of warriors named Zeta, Zag, Zenith and Zero-Zero.
How the Power Rangers interact with their new companions remains to be seen, but their mission to save Zelya sets the stage for the upcoming “Eltarian War” event that will spin through BOOM! Studios’ various Power Rangers books in September.
Mighty Morphin, which launched last November, has delved into the past to explore the backstory of Zordon and Lord Zedd, as well as their relationship with Eltar. The series also introduced a new Green Ranger to the team – Matthew Cook, the ex-boyfriend of Kimberly, the Pink Ranger.
Mighty Morphin #11 features a main cover by InHyuk Lee and variants by Eleonora Carlini, Goñi Montes and Elizabeth Torque. The issue goes on sale Sept. 8 from BOOM! Studios.
