McFarlane Toys Drops First Action Figure With Damian Wayne’s New Costume

[ad_1]

Infinite Frontier launched a new ongoing for Robin in April 2021, and McFarlane Toys now releases an action figure of Damian Wayne from the title.

New action figures of Damian Wayne’s Robin are available to pre-order from McFarlane Toys.

The action figures display the young crimefighter’s look from DC Comics’ Infinite Frontier era of comics, which began in early 2021. Damian was given a new suit featuring more black and less green elements, which was first seen in the backup story of Batman #106. Two McFarlane Toys figures are available for pre-order now, which capture the attire Damian wears for a good portion of the ongoing Robin series.

The first figure available for purchase is the Robin (Damian Wayne) Infinite Frontier 7″ Figure, which features Damian in his exact outfit from Infinite Frontier with the addition of a sword, base and collectible art card. The character has worn this suit throughout some crushing defeats in the series, like Flatline ripping his heart out in the very first issue and when Connor Hawke threw him off a cliff at the end of Issue #3. Priced at $19.99 and available to pre-order before it ships in May, the figure features 22 moving parts for posing and play.

An unmasked version of the Infinite Frontier Robin figure is available as a Gold Label exclusive.

However, that is not the only Damian Wayne available for purchase, being that an unmasked version of the figure is being offered as a Gold Label Exclusive within a bundle of the two figures, both the masked and unmasked. The bundle still holds true to how the character appears in the series, being that Damian’s identity and face is known by the fighters of the Lazarus Tournament, especially after the Robin announced his family tree while challenging everyone at the beginning of the series. The bundle has a higher price tag then the masked figure alone and can be pre-ordered for $24.99.

Robin, Robin (unmasked), Batman and Clayface are available to purchase in a bundle from McFarlane Toys.

For collectors of all things Batman, both the regular and Gold Label exclusive versions of Damian are also included in a larger bundle that features Batman and Clayface from the Rebirth Era of DC Comics, which began in 2016 and led into Infinite Frontier. While Clayface looks like his usual slimy self, Batman’s suit has a yellow border around his chest emblem and purple on the inside of his cape, which is how the character appeared towards the end of the New 52 comics era through Rebirth and events like Dark Knights: Metal. The bundle of all four figures features a price tag of $79.97.

Announced in October 2021, McFarlane Toys took over the DC Direct line of collectibles, unveiling new statues like a Batman: Black and White version of the caped crusader from Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, Joker as drawn by artist Greg Capullo during arcs like Death of the Family” and actor Robert Pattinson’s portrayal from the upcoming film The Batman. With these collectibles slated for 2022, the Robin figures from Infinite Frontier mark another offering the toy company has for Batman fans this year.
