Marvel fans are speculating on who the new Iron Fist will be following the announcement that Danny Rand is being replaced.
Marvel released a teaser image promising a new Iron Fist to take over the mantle from Danny Rand, leading to a spike in interest online.
Given that Marvel has yet to announce just who the new Iron Fist is, many fans are sharing their personal picks, with some believing the House of Ideas will have an Asian character inherit the mantle to set the stage for an Asian actor to portray Danny Rand in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Larry Hama, David Wachter, Neeraj Menon and Travis Lanham’s Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon saw Danny pass his abilities on to Okoye, who in turn gave them to Gork. However, Gork was in the process of being reincarnated as the replacement to Shou-Lao the Undying, whom Danny defeated to gain his Iron Fist powers in the first place. On Oct. 28, Marvel released the first of two teasers, this one homaging “Spider-Man No More” but with Danny Rand in Peter Parker’s place. The second featured a silhouetted Iron Fist channeling their chi.
