Marvel’s Current and Future Spider-Man Unite on Arthur Adams Cover

Amazing Spider-Man #75 will feature a wraparound cover by Arthur Adams showing two amazing Spider-Men at work: Peter Parker and Ben Reilly.

Amazing Spider-Man #75 is set to hit shelves soon, with a wraparound cover featuring Arthur Adams’ rendition of dual Spider-Men: Peter Parker and Ben Reilly.

Released by Marvel, Adams’ intense artwork for this highly anticipated issue showcases the Peter Parker and Ben Reilly swinging into action amidst a concrete jungle infested with supervillains. Marvel also unveiled Adams’ covers for Amazing Spider-Man #76 and #77, one of which shows that this fight will leave Peter Parker on life support. These three issues are set to release Oct. 2021.

Along with the recent announcement of Amazing Spider-Man‘s new creative team, it was hinted that Ben Reilly’s return could mean Peter Parker’s demise. The cover for issue #76 depicts a defeated Parker unconscious and on a ventilator with Mary Jane beside him, with the following cover for #77 showing Reilly’s Spider-Man in the midst of a fight with a robotic arm.

Per Marvel’s press release: “But as the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #76 shows, this Spider team-up won’t last long and Peter Parker may be taking his final web-swing. What villain did the unthinkable and took Peter down? And is Ben Reilly, last seen operating as the Scarlet Spider, really fit to take over?”

Written by Zeb Wells with art by Patrick Gleason, Amazing Spider-Man #75 will be available on Oct. 6.
