Martin & Short’s ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Returns this Summer
While many series take a year or two between seasons, Hulu’s second season of Only Murders in the Building will be debuting on June 28th, only 10 months after the premier episode was released on August 31st, 2021. The series, which was a surprise hit and critically acclaimed, stars comedic legends Steve Martin and Martin Short along with Selena Gomez as a trio of true-crime podcast fans who have a murder happen in their own building which leads to them doing a podcast of their own while trying to find the killed.
Hulu released this teaser to announced the series return date.
While season one had Mabel Mora (Gomez) work with struggling stage director Oliver Putnam (Short) and out-of-work actor Charles-Haden Savage (Martin) to solve the murder, season two starts with them being accused of killing their apartment board president, the unlikeable Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell) while dealing with a competing podcast run by Tina Fey.
