Eternal Weekend Dates
Get ready for Eternal Weekend 2021, taking place through Magic Online starting this weekend!
- Legacy Events
- Wasteland Event: Friday, November 19, at 5:00 p.m. PT (01:00 Saturday UTC)
- Bayou Event: Saturday, November 20, at 2:00 a.m. PT (10:00 UTC)
- Sylvan Library Event: Sunday, November 21, at 10:00 a.m. PT (18:00 UTC)
- Vintage events will be held on Magic Online on the following weekend of November 26–28, 2021.
The All-Access pass is back for these events, with six new artworks featuring some of the most iconic cards in both formats up for grabs as prizes. Modern Horizons 2 Returns
While we currently have Vintage Cube up and running, it’s time to bring back another fan favorite: Modern Horizons 2 Draft! We’re bringing back the non-Phantom Draft League now through January 5 with the same prize structure and chance to open a Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer you know and love!

Innistrad Chaos Draft Starts Wednesday
From November 17–24, you will be able to find Innistrad Chaos Draft in the Limited Play Lobby. In this three-round Draft format, each of the eight players will open a random booster pack from among all seven Innistrad sets. In addition, as there are only seven sets to choose from but eight different players opening eight packs each round, each set will be opened at least once each round, with only a single set being duplicated. The Spooky Season may be over for now, but Innistrad horrors (including opening a booster pack of Avacyn Restored) live on forever!
Pioneer Qualifier Saturday
On Saturday, November 20, there will be a Pioneer Qualifier with a start time of 9 a.m. PT (17:00 UTC). The event costs 40 Season 3 QPs, and the winner will earn an invitation to the Neon Dynasty Championship event on MTG Arena.

Modern Qualifier Sunday
On Sunday, November 21, there will be a Modern Qualifier with a special start time of 1 a.m. PT (09:00 UTC). The event costs 40 Season 3 QPs, and the winner will earn an invitation to the Neon Dynasty Championship event on MTG Arena.

Magic Online Format Challenges Every Weekend
Format Challenges are the first step toward qualifying for Premier Play through your favorite Magic formats and provide excellent prizes for those looking to test their mettle in their favorite formats. Learn more about Premier Play qualification to get started today.
Magic Online‘s Format Challenges run once on Saturdays and once on Sundays for each Constructed format! On weekends featuring Showcase Challenge events, the Format Challenge that starts at either 6 a.m., 8 a.m., or 10 a.m. Pacific time is pre-empted by the Showcase Challenge—Format Challenges scheduled at other times remain in place. NOTE: Pauper, Vintage, and Standard Challenges are never pre-empted.
New for MOCS Season 3: Pauper Showcase Challenges are held at 8 a.m. Saturday and do not pre-empt the Modern Challenge.
