Black Is Magic Celebration
Celebrate Black History and excellence during February and every month with us here on Magic Online! Read on to find out how you can score the entire Secret Lair: Black Is Magic drop by simply playing Magic!
For each week in February, we’ll be keeping tabs on accounts that simply play and finish an entire game of Magic each week. Whether that’s a round in the Pauper League, a match playing Innistrad: Double Feature or Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty draft, or just a Commander game with friends, you’ll eventually be able to earn all these cards on March 1.
Playing games during these weeks will earn you the following cards. But if you just play a game each week in February, you’re in the clear to receive the entire Secret Lair drop on Magic Online!
- Week 1: Shalai, Voice of Plenty
- Week 2: Cultivate
- Week 3: Path of Ancestry
- Week 4 (started today at midnight PT): Ponder
- Two-Week Combo: Kaya, Ghost Assassin
- Three-Week Combo: Sol Ring
- Four-Week Combo: Teferi, Hero of Dominaria

Magic Online Championship Showcase Season 3
The third and final Magic Online Champions Showcase of the 2021 season is here, featuring eight more players battling for $70,000 in cash prizes and the title of the 2021 Season 3 Showcase Champion.
Season 3 Showcase event leads off with a Magic Online Vintage Cube Draft followed by a three-round Modern Constructed format event—both using Swiss pairings. If the same player wins both events, that player is the Season 3 Showcase Champion. Otherwise, the winner of each event will square off in a single Best-of-Three playoff match in Modern Constructed to determine the Showcase Champion.
The 2021 Magic Online Champions Showcase Season 3 will be streamed live beginning at 10 a.m. PT on February 26 at twitch.tv/magic.
You will find decklists for the event at the 2021 Magic Online Champions Showcase Season 3 event page, with round-by-round standings and updates provided through the live broadcast. Make sure to check out the viewers guide on Magic.gg for all the need-to-know event info.
