Live-Action Zenkamono Film’s Trailer Reveals January 28 Release – News

Masahito Kagawa, Tо̄ji Tsukishima launched manga about probation officer in December 2017

The official website and Twitter account for the live-action film of Masahito Kagawa (Shimane no Bengoshi, Mashiro Hi) and Tо̄ji Tsukishima’s Zenkamono manga revealed last week the film’s January 28 release and a trailer:

Advanced tickets went on sale on October 29. The tickets come with a set of three postcards.

Yoshiyuki Kishi is directing the film and is also in charge of the screenplay and editing. The film stars Kasumi Arimura (live-action March comes in like a lion) as Kayo Agawa, a volunteer probation officer. The cast also includes Go Morita as Makoto Kudo and Hayato Isomura as Shinji Takimoto.

The original manga debuted in Shogakukan‘s Big Comic Original magazine in December 2017. Shogakukan published the manga’s eighth compiled book volume on October 29.

The manga is also inspiring a six-episode live-action television drama that will premiere on WOWOW on November 20. The series will also stream on Amazon Prime Video in Japan. The series will feature Kayo when she became a probation officer.
