This year marks Castlevania’s 35th birthday, and Konami is celebrating the occasion with a lavish 26-disc music collection. The catch? It’s exclusive to Japan at present and costs an eye-watering 28,600 Yen ($256 / £190).
Comprised of two volumes that span the aforementioned 26 CDs, the collection launches on the 15th of December and will come in two separate sets: Castlevania Black and Castlevania Red. If you pre-order the collection directly from Konami, you’ll get a bonus 14-track CD that features MIDI arrangements of songs from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (you can order the two sets individually from Play-Asia using the links at the bottom of the page.)
That’s not all; Konami has also released four official t-shirts on Amazon Japan to mark the release of the collection. These can be seen here, here, here and here.
Last week, Konami released Castlevania Advance Collection on the Switch, a pack which contains Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania: Dracula X.
