This new season has a similar opening and ending to the first season, with the theme songs being catchy little tunes with group singing on the chorus. The animation for the opening still shows all the characters we will see in this season. Also, like season one, there are ending clips that have nothing to do with the main episodes and the post-ending song clip that teases what the next episode will be. It has been a few years since Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Main first came out, so it is not surprising that there are improvements in the animation style. So far, there seem to be more fight scenes than in season one, and the magic looks way better!
