Square Enix has revealed that its upcoming series of cloud-based Kingdom Hearts games will launch for Nintendo Switch on 10th February, dropping a new trailer in the process.
Initially announced last year, the collection will see Kingdom Hearts – HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III launch on Nintendo’s system, technically containing ten games altogether. Fans will also be able to pick up a ‘Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece‘ collection, which combines all of the above in a single package.
Pricing for each game, as well as the collection, have now been revealed (thanks, Gematsu):
– Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version – $39.99 (launching at $31.99 discount price)
– Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version – $49.99 (launching at $39.99 discount price)
– Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind Cloud Version – $49.99 (launching at $39.99 discount price)
– Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud – $89.99 (launching at $71.99 discount price)
Remember, all of these Kingdom Hearts releases are cloud versions, meaning you’ll need a very solid internet connection to enjoy them. It’s also worth noting that $90 for a collection of titles that’ll simply stop working one day might feel a little steep – that decision will be up to you when they launch next month!
Free demos for each of the three individual titles above will also be playable on Switch starting today. You can see which games and additional content you’ll be able to enjoy across each release right here.
Are you thinking of trying out these cloud-based Kingdom Hearts games next month? Has the pricing put you off, or are you willing to part with your cash to enjoy the series on Switch? Let us know in the comments.
