The Stone Ocean arc is part six of eight in the on-going saga of the Joestar family. The first chapter of Hirohiko Araki’s stylish epic was first published in 1987, and in the more than 30 years since, the saga of Joseph Joestar and his descendants has continued through over 130 manga volumes, multiple anime adaptations and several video games. Each part of the series features a different protagonist in a new era and setting. The Stone Ocean arc is set in Florida ten years after the events of the previous arc, Golden Wind, which took place in Italy following the turn of the millennium.

The current Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime is available for streaming on Hulu, Netflix and Crunchyroll. The first five parts of the manga have been released and localized in English by VIZ Media.
