Hulu Reveals Season 10 Episode Count with a Massive Photo Album

[ad_1]

Hulu releases an extensive photo album featuring stills from the upcoming 10th season of Letterkenny while confirming its official episode count.

Hulu confirmed Letterkenny‘s episode count for Season 10 and released an extensive photo album for the new episodes.

Letterkenny Season 10 will consist of six episodes. This is in line with previous seasons of the popular Canadian sitcom, except for Seasons 8 and 9, which both consisted of seven episodes each. Along with the episode count, the series released a massive photo album of stills from each episode of the upcoming season, teasing returns to familiar locales, like the produce stand and MoDean’s, as well as storylines between the Hockey Players and the Skids and another scrap between the Hicks and Katy’s much-hated ex-boyfriend, Dierks.

Many of the photos are from moments featured in the first trailer for Letterkenny Season 10, which was recently released by Hulu. Season 10 will not only see the return of familiar friends and enemies alike, but also new adventures for the Hicks, like attending a Mennonite sausage party and preemptive prostate exams. Season 10 is set to premiere on Hulu just after Dec. 25, with the series having filmed both the 10th and 11th seasons back to back. Typically, Letterkenny releases two seasons per year, but that release frame was adjusted due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic causing production delays.

Series stars and co-creators Jared Keeso and Jacob Tierney also announced that the show’s first full-length spinoff, titled Shoresy, is currently underway, which will follow the titular, foul-mouthed hockey player played by Keeso in Letterkenny. While it’s unclear if Keeso will reprise his role for the spinoff, the official description for Shoresy released by Hulu reads, “Shoresy joins a senior triple hockey AAA team in Northern Ontario on a quest to never lose again.”

Letterkenny first began as Letterkenny Problems in 2013, a series of skits on YouTube featuring Keeso’s Wayne and Nathan Dales’ Daryl telling stories about the fictional, rural town of Letterkenny. The series was picked up by the Canadian network Crave in 2016, where it became a cult hit. Hulu landed the streaming rights for the series in 2018, causing Letterkenny‘s popularity to take off in the United States.

The Season 10 synopsis is as follows:

The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding with each other over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. In season 10, McMurray and Wayne do some dickering, the Hicks attend a sausage party, the Hockey Players and Skids have a video game battle, the men of Letterkenny receive head to toe physicals…and that’s just for starters, buddy.

Letterkenny Season 10 debuts on Hulu and Crave on Sunday, Dec. 26.
