Hercules: Guy Ritchie Signs on for Another Live Action Adaptation for Disney

Guy Ritchie must have really liked cracking the billion-dollar gross mark for the first time with his live-action adaptation of Aladdin, because the director has signed on to work with Disney again, this time doing a live-action adaptation of Hercules.

The film will be produced by AGBO, the production company run by Joe & Anthony Russo and they’ll be building on a first draft script by Dave Callaham. Ritchie is coming off of two action movies, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre which stars his regular collaborator Jason Statham as well as an untitled action thriller that stars Jake Gyllenhaal.

Maybe Marvel and Disney will insist Mr. Ritchie gay up the son of Zeus like Marvel Comics did. Any one willing to make a wager on that?
