Hayden Christensen to Also Appear in ‘Star Wars: Ashoka’ After ‘Kenobi’

Two weeks ago, we reported that Hayden Christensen would be returning to play Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader in the Obi Wan Kenobi series for Disney+. Well, reports are that that series has wrapped filming, but now THR is reporting that Christensen will also reprise his role in the upcoming Ahsoka series that will star Rosario Dawson. The character of Ahsoka Tano was introduced as a young Padwan to Jedi Knight Anakin in the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series.

Dave Filoni, creator of the Clone Wars is the co-creator of The Mandalorian with Jon Favreau and they introduced the live-action version of Ahsoka with Dawson in the second season of the series. There are a few teasers given in the episode that lead fans to believe that she would get her own series which Disney confirmed at the Investor Day Presentation back in December of last year. The series is expected to tie up some stories from another Filoni created animated series, Star Wars Rebels and have Ahsoka looking for the missing Ezra Miller and go up against the fan-favorite Chiss military genius Grand Admiral Thrawn.

How Christensen’s character will be used remains to be seen, but like Star Wars Girl, we don’t trust Disney at all.
