In Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #1, a former member of the Avengers gets a huge power boost when he gains the power of an Infinity Stone.

Infinite Destinies has brought the most iconic artifacts in the entire Marvel Universe out of the shadows and back into the spotlight, as the Infinity Stones have found their way into the bodies of living hosts. Much like many of the other chosen hosts, the Prince of Power is still adjusting to his new abilities. Thankfully, he’s run into an old friend who could prove to be the perfect mentor, the former Avenger Hercules. While the Greek demigod knows all about wielding immense strength, the Prince has just shown him what it’s like to have access to the power of an Infinity Stone in Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #1, by Al Ewing, Flaviano, Rachelle Rosenberg, and VC’s Cory Petit.
What should have been an easy, laid back night at the bar for Hercules took an abrupt turn for the worse when something comes crashing through the roof at high speed. As it turns out, that something just so happens to be the Prince of Power, who is eager to catch up with the former Avenger. Before they can get too far along in their conversation, the minions of interstellar crime lord Cordyceps Jones arrive looking for an emerald that the Prince has stolen from them. Getting it back might not even be possible considering the Prince’s claim that he ate it, and there is no reason to believe otherwise. In fact, eating precious gems is exactly how he got his powers, as the Prince literally consumed the Power Stone thinking it was just a fancy jelly bean. Since then he has been able to tap into an unlimited wellspring of power, one that he shares with Hercules in a jaw-dropping display.
By merely placing a hand on his friend’s shoulder and letting the power flow through him, Prince Otherone imparts Hercules with a strength unlike anything he has ever known before. Considering the Olympian’s pedigree, that means a lot. Although he is only half god, Hercules still carries within him a divine level of strength, which he has used to great effect over the years.
Still, the energy that flows through him is almost too much for even the mighty Hercules to handle, and by barely touching his assailant the villain is sent hurtling through the air with an impossible amount of force. As the former Avenger and current Guardian of the Galaxy tells it, he didn’t even mean to hit them, and honestly may have just barely brushed up against them while his arms flailed uncontrollably under the Power Stone’s influence. For someone who isn’t just a demigod, but who stood in for the Hulk for a time, the fact that he is surprised at all is a striking testament to how much strength the Prince of Power is actually dealing with.
The Prince of Power has imparted his strength to others before, but it was never clear that he was carrying such an immense amount of it. He previously claimed that his abilities came from a wizard, so there was no reason to think he was this powerful.
Now that the facts of the matter have been made clear, it’s obvious why Hercules ends up offering Prince Otherone his services as a mentor. After all, the Avenger and Guardian has years of experience wielding an awesome amount of power as well.
