If you’ve been holding out for the physical release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch, unfortunately, it’s been delayed until next year.

The hard copy was due to launch on Nintendo’s hybrid system on 7th December, and has now been pushed back to “early 2022”. No specific date has been locked in just yet, and Rockstar is advising followers to check their local retailer for availability.

Physical versions for other platforms have also been delayed, but will still arrive this month on 17th December. Here’s the announcement in full from Rockstar Games:

In somewhat related news, the trilogy collection has received another update, which will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in the coming days. Have you been holding out for the physical release of the trilogy? How do you feel about this news? Leave a comment below.
