Everyone loves a goofy party game. Everyone loves janky physics. Finally, the two have been combined in Gang Beasts — although “finally” is a bit dramatic, since the game’s been out since 2014.
Gang Beasts is a beat ’em up, in which you’re trying to throw your friends into lava, meat grinders, and various other deadly obstacles; or you can just punch each other until one of you is knocked out, and then you can throw ’em off the top of a truck, or a ferris wheel.
The best bit, though, is that you’re a floppy, primary-coloured jelly-boy, and it’s hard enough to control your own arms, let alone flail them at someone else effectively.
Also, there are hats and kigurumis. You can dress like a chicken. Why wouldn’t you dress like a chicken?
Gang Beasts comes to the Switch eShop this Winter.
Have you already organised a Gang Beasts LAN party in anticipation of the Switch release? Does anyone call them LAN parties any more? Let us know in the comments!
