Fairy Tail’s members were threatened when Hades’ Guild, Grimoire Heart, vows to destroy them. Natsu is reminded of all the pain Hades inflicted on his comrades and wants to make him disappear. Erza, Wendy, Gray, and Lucy all watch the battle between Natsu and Hades commence.

The impossible always becomes possible when Natsu wants to protect his nakama. His friends see him surpass his limits to defeat Hades all the while reminding his friends and the viewers that even when there seems to be no hope left, there is always a reason to keep going.

Not believing them, she summons many of her celestial spirits and Aquarius, it is thanks to Lucy and Natsu’s interesting relationship that Lucy makes it out of this battle alive.

Victory for Fairy Tail meant that their family was complete again and there was no longer a struggle to prove their worth.

No one should be treated as if they are worthless, so Natsu attacks the Guild’s Master, Jiemma. After the fight, Natsu tells them that not only will Fairy Tail be the Number One Guild again but they will never lose to a Guild that does not care about each other.

Fairy Tail is well known throughout the series for destroying everything in their path, and this was no different when Natsu fought Jellal. In order to protect Erza and his promise to the late Simon, Natsu vowed to destroy the Tower of Heaven in order to put a stop to Jellal’s tyranny.

His strength and determination inspire his nakama to keep fighting. The guild is facing a life or death situation and Natsu believes that they will survive no matter what the circumstances are, which is something Master Makarov taught him.

In a battle against King Faust during the Edolas Arc, Natsu inspires Gajeel and Wendy at a point where his comrades had given up on winning. King Faust was using the Dragon Knight to turn the Exceeds into lacrima to achieve a never-ending source of magic power.

Zeref set out the path that Natsu was supposed to follow. Natsu was created to destroy Zeref and in the end, Natsu would die as well. Natsu was determined to create his own path and not be sealed by his fate. He shows his brother that no matter what is thrown at him, he will not break but come back stronger.

Natsu’s desire to change the world was dependent on getting rid of Zeref, and although Natsu chose to fight Zeref, he refused to die because he knew he had so much more to live for. In order to change his fate, he had to survive even after Zeref had been defeated.

During the Grand Magic Games Arc, Natsu and the rest of Fairy Tail had to fight to take back the position of top Guild. Natsu was determined to do anything to get back what his nakama had lost when their strongest members disappeared for seven years.

There were many times when winning seemed impossible. When Lucy was fighting Flare, Natsu had gone missing and after an unbearable loss, Lucy felt morally defeated. Natsu was there to let her know that this loss was not the end and there was no need to cry yet, as her tears should not be shed unless they were victorious.
