Techland is reportedly bringing Dying Light: Platinum Edition to the Nintendo Switch, which includes all the game’s DLC as well as bonus features.

Dying Light: Platinum Edition will reportedly receive a port to the Nintendo Switch later this year.

As reported by Polish gaming news website ppe.pl, Dying Light developer Techland will bring the platinum edition of its 2015 survival horror hit to Switch later in Oct. 2021. Dying Light: Platinum Edition is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and includes all of the game’s previously-released content. The Switch version will cost $49.99 at launch, matching its cost on other platforms.

Since Dying Light released in 2015, Techland has added four major content packs and 17 bundles of additional character skins, all of which will be included in the Switch platinum edition. The report also boasts the port will take full advantage of features unique to Switch, such as HD Rumble, gyro aiming, motion controls and touchscreen support. The port will also feature local co-op multiplayer. And, at no additional cost, physical copies of Dying Light for the Switch will include a map, a survival guide and some stickers.

Dying Light received positive reviews upon its release, praising the game for its first-person perspective and unique day-and-night cycle that added a chilling spin to its open-world zombie survival experience. Techland is currently developing Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which is not currently expected to release for Nintendo Switch. Barring a surprise announcement of Switch compatibility, the Dying Light sequel will launch on Dec. 7 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
