The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series teamed up with Japanese mobile phone company au with an amusing live-action ad, debuting on Thursday. The ad features performances by Ryunosuke Kamiki (your name.‘s Taki Tachibana), Honoka Matsumoto (Ride Your Wave‘s Yōko Hinageshi), and Taishi Nakagawa (Josee, The Tiger and the Fish‘s Tsuneo Suzukawa, live-action Sonic the Hedgehog‘s Sonic). Tanjirō Kamado voice actor Natsuki Hanae performed the narration.

The au website is promoting the collaboration with applications and games that can be accessed via smartphone. The contents include a character quote compilation movie, an escape game using the Mugen Train setting, and an AR filter that can make people look like they’re performing the iconic Breathing Techniques from the anime. More content will be unveiled at a later date.

A series of live-action ads promoting MORINAGA‘s In Jelly drinks, featuring voiceover by Natsuki Hanae, also debuted on Friday.
