Danny Phantom, the half-ghost teenager from Amity Park…versus Jenny Wakeman, the super-powered teenage robot from Tremorton. In a fight between these two classic characters who would win?
Danny Fenton (AKA Danny Phantom)
At age 14, Danny Fenton started out as a regular teenager who acquired ghost powers from an accident caused by a machine his own parents created; the ghost portal. After acquiring said ghost powers, Danny took it upon himself to try and prevent more ghosts from escaping through the portal.
Enemies Defeated:
Ever since the accident, Danny has been pitted against countless opponents.

Abilities:
Danny also has a large number of ghost-based powers to help him combat various enemies, both human and ghost alike.
Ectoplasmic Bolts, Beams, Etc.
Shielding

Tools:
As a ghost-human hybrid hero, the 14 year old is forced to fend off and capture ghosts in order to send them back through the Fenton Portal and protect his home town. Some of his most notable ghost hunting gadgets include the following.
Fenton Thermos
Fenton Ghost Fisher
Fenton Ghost Gloves
Fenton Specter Deflector
Etc…
Weaknesses:
Unfortunately, since Danny is half-ghost himself, many of the same tools he uses to fight and capture ghosts can also be used against him in combat. There’s also an extraterrestrial material called Ecto-Ranium which is essentially kryptonite for ghosts. Coming into contact with Ecto-Ranium could incapacitate Danny.
Jenny Wakeman (XJ-9)
XJ-9 was a robot constructed by renowned scientist Dr. Nora Wakeman. The teenage robot herself was originally designed for the purpose of protecting the earth from various threats. At one point XJ-9 started calling herself Jenny, and even though she was designed for battle, the teenage robot found herself wanting to live and walk among regular humans and make friends.
Enemies Defeated:
During her series run, Jenny dealt with a lot of enemies. Ranging from Humans and Man-Made Robots, to Mutants, Aliens, and Alien Robots.
Vexus

Abilities:
XJ-9 has a huge variety of weapons she uses for combat including rockets, lasers, blades, hammers, etc. Jenny also has different types of optical senses which she can use to track down opponents in different types of environments whether they’re visible or not.

Extreme Durability
Super Stamina
Incredible Hearing
Vision Based Abilities:
Telescopic
Electromagnetic
Ultraviolet

Etc…
Weaknesses:
Jenny is a robot with a computerized brain and is powered by oil. That means that pretty much anything that can destroy oil powered machines or destroy computers can seriously harm if not totally incapacitate Jenny.
Rust by Water
Explosion by Fire
Electrical Overcharge
System Hacking
The Fight
So in a fight between Jenny Wakeman and Danny Phantom, who would be the victor? First off, it’s important to note that Danny Phantom has a great deal of experience in fighting against robotic enemies like Technus and Skulker for example, so he should be well aware of at least some of Jenny’s weaknesses. On the flip note, Jenny also has her sensory tech to hone in on invisible enemies like Infrared Ivan, thus rendering Danny’s invisibility power useless.
In terms of raw strength, speed, senses, and more, XJ-9 has a clear advantage; however the ghost boy also has some abilities that would level the playing field. Danny’s intangibility power for instance could put a serious damper on most of Jenny’s arsenal. The ghost kid can also use his duplication ability to throw off the teenage robot in any number of ways.
One of Danny’s most iconic abilities is the ectoplasmic rays and bolts he shoots from his hands. Depending on how he uses them, our friendly neighborhood ghost boy just might be able to tear through Jenny’s armor like a butter-knife assuming he can hit his target. With her speed and agility, however, XJ-9 should be able to avoid getting hit with little challenge. Danny could switch over to his ice power to slow down his opponent, but even this may not be enough given Jenny’s incredible strength.
One surefire way for Jenny to win against the ghost kid would require the use of Ecto-Ranium. The only problem of course is that Ecto-Ranium is a rare element found in space and would be very difficult to find, so if Jenny failed to hit her target, she would’ve wasted ammo for nothing. Even if she did manage to hit her target, our boy Danny could’ve easily used a duplicate as a decoy.
Jenny could use Danny’s own ghost gadgets against him if she wanted to play it smart, but she would need to get in very close and pickpocket Danny in order to pull that off. In a reverse scenario, Jenny’s opponent could use her many weaknesses against her in the same way. These include water, fire, electricity, and hacking. Each of these options could be used from a safe distance. Since Jenny’s weaknesses are easier to gain access to and exploit, Danny’s chances of winning are far better in this respect.
RESULT: DANNY PHANTOM WINS! Here’s Why:
Relying on these characters’ weaknesses alone, Danny could probably defeat Jenny in a snap. Even without said weaknesses, no matter what Jenny does to incapacitate her opponent, Danny could easily use a duplicate to throw her off, which would then leave Jenny wide open for a surprise attack. At which point, Danny could either use his ghostly wail power to finish her off, or use his ghostly possession ability to possess Jenny’s body and destroy it from the inside, but here’s the kicker. It wouldn’t be the first time that Jenny’s body got taken over, or even the most embarrassing time this happened, since at one point XJ-9’s body got stolen by a swarm of rats.
