Is’nana the Were-Spider: Birthday Day

It’s Is’nana the Were-Spider’s birthday! A prequel to his adventures, meet Is’nana as a little spider on an adventure with his buds.
The Glyph award-winning series, Is’nana the Were-Spider is turning back the clocks. This prequel is a horror-fantasy one-shot; an all-ages comic for the non-arachnophobic Halloween fans out there. This story follows Anansi’s son, Is’nana, as he strikes out with a handful of his best friends to celebrate his birthday with an adventure. As Is’nana has in the past, Birthday Day sets out to introduce Black cultures and beliefs to new audiences.

Johann Wier – The triumph of Death

The Italian comics publisher YEP! Comics is gearing up for its second Kickstarter: a historical fiction/fantasy series about the real-life Dutch physician – and one of the first to publish against the persecution of witches – Johann Wier. A slice-of-life comic following the shenanigans of Astro, a troublemaking pup, and his “slightly” dramatic human, Inéz.
Astro & Inéz is a slice-of-life comic following a six-year-old pup and his owner, Inéz, a twenty-six-year-old, queer, Dominican woman living in NYC. Across five short stories, this one-shot collection follows the pair getting lost camping, going to the vet, and – in general – cleaning up after a troublemaking, but adorable, pup.

Brigantia (Volume 1)

The fantasy/pagan story follows Brigantia, a pre-Roman, British goddess who finds herself abruptly thrust into modern London.
