Cobie Smulders to Reprise S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill in ‘Secret Invasion’ on Disney+

Cobie Smulders is set to reunite with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury on Marvel’s Secret Invasion, reprising her role of Maria Hill, Deadline reports. The series will premiere on Disney+ and also stars Ben Mendelsohn, reprising his role as Skrull Talos, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Christopher McDonald and Killian Scott.

The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. Details about the role are being kept under wraps, but it is reportedly a newly created character that could cross over to the larger MCU, including appearing in movies and other Disney+ limited series.

A rep for Marvel declined comment.

Smulders has reprised the character, created in Marvel Comics by Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch, in several Marvel films including Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain America: Civil War and every Avengers pic.
