The world is overflowing with devils. Denji, a young boy, along with his pet Pochita – the chainsaw devil – are working hard to pay back the debt Denji’s passed father left behind. To do this, Denji decides to become a devil hunter. One day the yakuza who hired him decide to betray him and he’s almost killed by the zombie devil. However, Pochita and Denji made a deal prior to this, allowing Pochita to save his life by merging with him and becoming his heart. Thanks to this Denji can now transform into the chainsaw devil. After defeating the zombie devil and the yakuza, he joins public safety as a devil hunter under the guidance of Makima.
