For those of us that rather enjoy riding Palamutes named after dearly-departed canine friends and fighting awesome monsters, last week’s Nintendo Direct started particularly well. It brought the reveal of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which promises to be a significant expansion for the game next Summer.
Its timing – a few months after the game also arrives on PC – hopefully points to an Iceborne-style expansion in terms of scope (which gave fresh life to Monster Hunter: World). The good news is that we’ll learn more soon, with Capcom hosting a spotlight presentation at Tokyo Game Show focused on Sunbreak.
As you can see it’s at a time that will hopefully suit plenty of viewers globally – it airs on 30th September at 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm UK / 3pm CEST.
We’ll likely have a cheeky little live blog for the occasion here at Nintendo Life; are you looking forward to seeing more of Sunbreak?
