Bruce Campbell Seemingly Confirms Cameo in Doctor Strange 2

[ad_1]

Bruce Campbell, the Evil Dead hero and B-movie icon, has been enigmatic about a possible reunion with filmmaker Sam Raimi in the upcoming Marvel sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Campbell was questioned about future projects while performing live at Middletown’s Fair Oaks Drive-In Theatre last weekend, when he replied: “maybe some movie with Sam Raimi that he might be directing.”

“I can only give you a strange answer. I can answer that, but only with a strange answer. Am I in Doctor Strange 2? The strange answer is… linoleum.”

For a long time, the actor has given cryptic replies about a possible Doctor Strange appearance, most recently stating that the allegations are true. “I’d think that’s a fairly credible rumor.” I don’t believe I’ll get sued over it. Yeah, that’s a very solid rumor.” “Look, I think it’s a law that if I’m not in a Sam Raimi film, it’s not going to be good.” Campbell remarked, “If Sam wants a terrific movie, he’ll cast me in it.” “But you never know what’s going to stay or leave in these enormous movies when presenting these huge storylines, so I don’t know.” That’s why I make it cryptic: (a) I don’t want to get sued, but (b) I don’t want to say, “Yeah, hey, tune in!” and then have them respond, “Yeah, hey, tune in!”

So does this mean that he’ll most likely be in Doctor Strange 2? Nobody knows what he means when he says “linoleum.” Campbell might be a talking lino tile assisting The Sorcerer Supreme on his multiverse adventure. Ever since Raimi was hired to direct the movie for Marvel Studios, rumors of Bruce Campbell starring in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have circulated. Campbell is no stranger to Marvel or Raimi’s work, so he’ll very certainly appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In all three of Raimi’s Spider-Man movies, the actor played a variety of characters.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 25, 2022, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
