Brock Lesnar Makes WWE Return at SummerSlam

[ad_1]

After over a year away from the company, Brock Lesnar makes his WWE return at SummerSlam 2021.

After over a year since his most recent match for the company, Brock Lesnar is officially back in WWE.

In the main event of SummerSlam 2021, reigning Universal Champion Roman Reigns successfully defended his title against challenger John Cena. Roman’s victory celebration was short-lived, however, with Lesnar’s music playing over the loudspeakers before the Best Incarnate made his way down to the ring.

Lesnar soon confronted Reigns, much to the chagrin of Lesnar’s former manager, Paul Heyman, who now represents Reigns. With Reigns having successfully defended his Universal title against Cena, we can safely assume that Brock — a former Universal Champion in his own right — will be the Head of the Table’s next challenger.

Lesnar’s most recent WWE appearance took place on the second night of WrestleMania 36, which was broadcast on the WWE Network on April 5, 2020. At ‘Mania 36, Lesnar dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. Several months later, it was reported that Lesnar’s contract with WWE had expired, as the two parties had not come to a new agreement. Since then, there has been much speculation regarding if and when the Next Big Thing would make his way back to the big dub.
