10 Shikadai Nara Is Blessed With Great Intelligence
Shikadai is a member of Konohagakure’s Nara clan and thus possesses great intelligence, like most other members of this clan. Just like his father, Shikadai is great at coming up with strategies in battle, as seen when he fought against Boruto in the Chunin Exams. Even though the son of the Hokage is a genius in his own right, Shikadai cornered him without too much trouble. What’s more, had Boruto used the Rasengan against him, Shikadai already had 13 countermeasures in place.
9 Katasuke Is A Genius Scientist Of Konohagakure
As the leader of Konohagakure’s science division, Katasuke has played a great role in making the village progress faster. According to Naruto Uzumaki, Konoha’s scientific technology is unmatched by any of the other villages, meaning Katasuke is incomparable when it comes to the scientists from the five villages. Over the years, he’s managed to develop many scientific ninja tools and even a prosthetic arm for the Seventh Hokage that is capable of absorbing ninjutsu with ease.
8 Kabuto Yakushi Remains As Sharp As Ever
Kabuto Yakushi was one of the smartest characters in the Naruto series, and although he is no longer a spy and now runs an orphanage, his mind hasn’t dulled a bit. In his days as a ninja, Kabuto was able to help Orochimaru thanks to his tremendous intellect. He proved to be a challenge for even Tsunade Senju in terms of medical knowledge. Later, Kabuto accomplished what Orochimaru couldn’t and attained the powers of the White Snake Sage.
7 Kashin Koji Possesses The Intelligence Of Jiraiya
Kashin is a clone of Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin of the Naruto world, and just like his genetic template, he’s quite smart. He has been shown to be incredible at sneaking around undetected and collecting intel from various places.

Kakashi Hatake was one of the smartest characters in the Naruto series, and that stays true even today. He is known to be quite brilliant, be it in combat or outside of it. Back in Naruto Shippuden, Naruto compared his intelligence to that of Shikamaru Nara, another genius in his own right, and claimed that Kakashi was indeed smarter.

Sasuke ranks among the smartest characters in Boruto, thanks to the experience that he’s gained over the years. He had proven himself to be a prodigy in Naruto and had already developed countless jutsu at a very young age, which is an exceptional feat.

2 Orochimaru Is Smarter Than Ever Before
Once a shinobi of Konohagakure, Orochimaru is quite a powerful ninja with a mind that rivals even that of the Third Hokage. Orochimaru has learned, developed, and perfected hundreds of jutsu, which goes to show how much of a genius he really is. His biggest achievement to date is the creation of synthetic human beings. Orochimaru has created people like Log and Mitsuki and made them perfect clones of himself. Undoubtedly, his intellect can only be matched by a handful of others in the story.
1 Amado Is Kara’s Genius Scientist
Amado is a member of Kara, and while he is the weakest of the lot, thanks to his mind, he’s also the most dangerous. Amado is smart enough to create human clones, just like Orochimaru, as seen with the creation of Kashin Koji. He’s also modified the bodies of several people with scientific ninja tools, making them as strong as the likes of Naruto and Sasuke.
His genius was such that Katasuke found his work almost unbelievable upon witnessing it for the first time. Amado managed to become a major thorn in Isshiki’s plan and was one of the biggest reasons for his death.
