In the upcoming DC Comics releases, Batman gets a new adult series, Nightwing’s daring rescue lasts for one creative image and so much more.
Next week, DC Comics debuts a new mature Batman series.
Batman: One Dark Knight is the latest Black Label series focused on the caped crusader from DC, adding on to the list of titles like Batman: Damned, Three Jokers, Batman/Catwoman and more. The upcoming series will be both written and illustrated by Jock, the all-star artist behind series like The Batman Who Laughs and iconic covers for storylines such as Batman: Under the Red Hood. One Dark Knight isn’t the only Black Label book releasing this week though, with Catwoman: Lonely City #2 out as well. Of course, there is much more coming from the DC Universe.
Jumping to the lighter side of the Bat Family, Nightwing #87 will feature a creative escapade from artist Bruno Redondo, who has illustrated the entire issue to run as a single, continuous image while Dick Grayson races to rescue his newly adopted puppy, Haley. For collectors, the aforementioned Batman Who Laughs gets some competition in Justice League Incarnate #2, which will feature the first appearance of the Batwoman Who Laughs. There are plenty of other Bat-related titles for readers to enjoy as well, like Batman/Catwoman #9 and the print release of Robins #2 (currently available on DC Universe), but there are many other non-Batman titles out as well.
From the world of Wonder Woman comes the next installments of Wonder Woman: Evolution and Nubia and the Amazons. For those horror fans looking to delve into something other than super heroics, the third issue of Refrigerator Full of Heads will also be available on shelves, along with much more. The full list of releases and their solicitations can be found alphabetically below.
