Three-time New York Times best-selling artist Jock will write and draw a new DC Black Label miniseries titled Batman: One Dark Knight in December.
Writer/artist Jock (The Batman Who Laughs, Batman: The Black Mirror) is helming a new Batman title under DC’s Black Label banner.
Batman: One Dark Knight is a three-issue Black Label prestige format miniseries premiering Dec. 7. The comic will be entirely drawn and written by Jock, a three-time New York Times best-selling artist.
“I think most readers know how much I love drawing Batman, so I was thrilled by the prospect of marrying the visual take with my own storyline for Batman: One Dark Knight,” said Jock. “I wanted to tell a propulsive, tight action tale, set over one typical night in Gotham City; except when a blackout strikes it’s a night that goes very, very wrong for Batman. I can’t wait to share more with everyone soon!”
Batman: One Dark Knight #1 goes on sale Dec. 7 from DC.
