Prime 1 Studio’s statue of Val Kilmer’s Batman features incredible detail, a stalagmite base, and a hefty pre-order price tag of $1,699.
Prime 1 Studio’s newest collector’s statue is a rendition of Val Kilmer’s Batman from the 1995 film Batman Forever, selling for a hefty $1,699.
Dubbed the Batman Ultimate Bonus Version, the detailed statue will become available as a limited edition pre-order on Prime 1 Studio’s website beginning Aug. 5.
Measuring 38 inches tall, the statue comes with a leather fabric cape, a wall of gadgets, a Bat Cowl and a stalagmite base inspired by the Batcave. The statue also includes swappable right forearms, with Batman either balling up his fists, holding a Batarang or clutching his grapnel. Finally, those who purchase the statue from Prime 1 Studio’s store receive a Batman Forever plaque with a texture that matches the stalagmite base.
“Our talented team of sculptors and painters have expressed their passion and dedication in their work by crafting a Batman with incredible likeness and impeccable quality!” the description on Prime 1 Studio’s website reads. “The unbelievable craftsmanship in his face alone should sell you on this statue: from his lifelike eyes to the subtle pout of his lips, to the natural complexion of his skin. Likewise, his fantastic anatomy has been sculpted to exacting perfection. Taut, but not tense. Solid, but not inflexible.”
Prime 1 Studio is known for statues that boast extremely detailed sculpts, 3D modeling techniques and high prices. The company has also announced upcoming Batman Forever statues based on Robin and Batman’s Sonar Suit, which was worn in the movie’s finale.
